Do the following to enable the messenger service: Start button Run Type services.msc Scroll down to the Messenger service Right-click and select Start If you want like the messenger service to start automatically after every reboot, do the following: Right-click the Messenger service and select properties In the general tab, select Automatic for the startup type Click Apply and OK]]></description>
