Take a break from work
Feeling the pain of the daily grind? Take a day or two off of work and do whatever the hell you want to do. Why bust your hump for the man everyday when all you get in return is a bigger waistline, less hair, and more stress. Take some time off I say!
Too many people think that by working every day of their life will pay off in sort of way….it really doesn’t….the only people that reap the rewards and “live the good life” are those in positions above you. Why?…because by you working more….it makes them look good….that’s basically how it goes. Oh well….we need money to pay bills. So don’t go quiting or anything…..just don’t work every f#cking day of your life.
There are so many more valuable and less stressful things outside of work. Take a day off and go for a nice long walk…and forget about work! Here are some things that wipe out any memory of work for me…even if it’s just for one day or two.
- Go for a long long walk
- Go fishing!
- Spend time with your family
- Go hiking
- STAY OFF THE INTERNET
- Watch an inspiring movie or something to really pump you up (any of the Rocky movie’s …except the last one)
- Go driving around and blast your favorite music
In conclusion, it’s good to spend time away from work….work isn’t everything…and if you do take time away from work, stay the f#ck off the Internet.
Shit happens...deal with it. I've heard it all....or at least I'd like to think I have....................................................
