Windows 7 – Turn Off / Turn On / Disable / Enable UAC (User Account Control)
Ok, so you’re getting this A LOT and tired of it! I completely understand. Here’s how to disable or turn it off. ***WARNING….I’m just showing how to do it and I’m not forcing you to do it. If you decide to do this, you are freely doing it on your own*** I disabled mine because the pop-up below was pissing me off.
Here’s how!
- Click the Start button (the circular Windows button on the bottom left corner)
- Click Control Panel
- Click User Accounts and Family Safety *If you are on a domain, click User Accounts
- Click Turn User Account Control on or off (type administrator password if you are prompted to do so)
- Clear/Remove the User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer check box to turn it off (or check it to turn it on)
