Windows 7 – Show Desktop Icon – Quick Launch – Missing

So you installed Windows 7 and now wondering where the %@^@ the show desktop icon is. Normally it is located in the quick launch area. You’re in luck…well….maybe. The show desktop “icon” is actually located at the bottom on the far right. Below is a picture of the new show desktop icon

Now….if you hover the mouse cursor over it, it will reveal your desktop.  If you click on it, it will minimize all open windows and display your desktop.  If you click on it again, it will restore every open window you had.
