Active@ Password Changer – Reset your Windows password!

Ever forget your Windows password?  How about forgetting your Windows password and can’t log onto your computer?  Well this does suck….especially if reinstalling Windows is your only option.  Here’s something worse….how about forgetting your Windows password, can’t log onto your computer, and don’t have a backup of your data?  Now that really sucks.

Well I was working on someone’s computer the other day and they had done it all!  It was up to me to recover or reset their Windows password.  After searching online a bit, I found a great program called Active@ Password Changer.  Active@ Password Changer is designed for resetting local administrator and user passwords on Windows XP / VISTA / 2003 / 2000 / NT systems in case an Administrator’s password is forgotten or lost. You do not need to re-install and re-configure the operating system.  Visit http://www.password-changer.com/ for more information.  I created a bootable cd using the software and successfully reset the their password!

Unfortunately, Active@ Password Changer is not free and does cost $59.99 for a single license.  I’m not saying this is the best program but it is quick, easy to use, and it WORKS!
